Our cottages are situated in the Eskdale Valley, one of the Lake District’s most beautiful areas.

Hardknott Roman Fort is a short drive, or hike from our accommodation in Boot village, Eskdale.
Traditional Lake District Peat huts – once used to store the peat stripped from the surrounding moors, now useful as a shelter from the elements for humans and animals alike.
Stepping stones across the crystal clear River Esk, set amongst a dreamy landscape.
Miles of roads through the Eskdale Valley and surrounding area, ideal for road biking and taking in the amazing scenery.
