Important Information

All dogs must be booked in and sorry we do not take dogs under one year old as we had a bad incident with a puppy chewing one of our nice Italian leather sofas. All dogs should be well behaved and all owners need to follow our easy to follow rules eg not allowed on beds, not left alone in the cottage, not off a lead in our shared gardens, taken for walks off site but still on a lead on footpaths as this is farming country and please read and abide by the full list of dog rules below. We will probably have other guests without dogs staying in our other cottages here to enjoy the peace, beauty and tranquility of our special corner of the Lake District, so if your dog is going to be stressed in unfamiliar surroundings and/or prone to barking lots we suggest you book elsewhere.
